Whether you're moving the entire content of your home, or simply transporting a few pieces of additional luggage, you can travel lightly with our Unaccompanied Bags service.
Unaccompanied Bags, can only consist of personal items only, such as clothing, musical instruments, books, CDs or sports equipment travel.
From London Heathrow and London Gatwick, British Airways World Cargo no longer offers the Unaccompanied Bags product directly to members of the public or non-account holders. Unaccompanied Bags can only be accepted from a freight forwarder.
Whilst British Airways World Cargo does not recommend a specific company you may wish to contact either your local freight forwarding agent or First Luggage, details below, who can make all the booking arrangements directly with British Airways World Cargo on your behalf.

Reliable Results
You will be advised at the time of booking what the estimated time of departure will be and the estimated time of arrival at your destination.
Flexibility
Depending on the weight and size your baggage can be dropped off two to eight hours before flight departure time, giving you plenty of time to board if your flight.
Recovery commitment
In the unlikely event that your baggage does not fly as booked, we will ensure it will arrive at its destination within 48 hours of your original flight arrival time. We will also contact you to let you know.

Our promise:
If we are unable to fly your bag as booked, you will be contacted within 4 hours of the scheduled departure time (or actual time of departure if applicable). In such situations, we will then ensure that your bag arrives at its destination witin 48 hours of the scheduled arrival time

How to make a booking
For an immediate quotation, including the cost of airfreight, contact your local British Airways World Cargo office. You will be asked to provide written instructions for despatch and to complete a UK Customs form, available from any British Airways World Cargo office. To minimise delays, the form must be completed accurately and all items in your consignment packed in a way suitable for transport by air.
