Statement on fuel surcharge (15/12/2008)

British Airways World Cargo has announced a reduction to its fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be GBP0.44 / USD0.65 / EUR0.65 with effect from 29 December 2008. This reduction follows a continued fall in the price of fuel.

The new rates are displayed on BA World Cargo's fuel surcharge index, a tool designed to provide customers with more information about the calculation of fuel surcharges. The index is updated every week and posted on this website.

Adam Carson, senior manager revenue management, said: "We are reducing the fuel surcharge following further decreases in fuel prices."
